Barb teaches parents behavior management techniques and she shares some with us today. She reinforces importance of being aware of our reactions to things because our reactions impact their reaction. She covered the expectations we have for our children and how we can be cognizant of the individual needs of each child because each child is different. She also emphasizes the importance of the needs of the parent and shares techniques to help children and parents identify emotions, how to feel heard, and address problems from a neutral state.
